Sea Water Desalination Systems (SWRO Desalination Systems)
Sea Water Desalination Systems are reverse osmosis systems applied in areas where there is no access to clean water such as sea water or high conductivity well water.
Widely used in sea water desalination technologies, reverse osmosis is a physical treatment method which separates the salt minerals in sea water from the water using membrane technology. The most important feature of reverse osmosis is to apply pressure to sea water.
While the reverse osmosis system passes clean water, it separates the minerals and leaves them behind. Thus, potable water stays on one side of the membrane and the salt residues remain on the other. The treated water is convenient for use as potable water and domestic water.
These systems are specially designed according to the capacity, area of usage and sea water salinity data. We have systems starting from 3 m3/day to 1500 m3/day capacities.
Additional pre-treatment and posttreatment system requirements, supervision and commissioning services can be provided by Hydrotur technical team upon request.
